Apples and Peanut Butter Protein Bites

Who's a fan of apples and peanut butter?


Nothing better than a fresh fuji apple with some peanut butter smeared on it. Yum! Since it's not apple season around here, we've been digging Apple Chips instead dipped into peanut butter. A little carbs, a little fat... the only thing missing is protein. So I decided to make my favorite snack a little more well balanced by creating a protein bite!

Still the same goodness of apples and peanut butter but rolled into a ball with some protein powder, honey and cinnamon.

Apple and Peanut Butter Protein Bites

Servings - 10


1/3 cup almond flour

1 tbsp flaxseed meal

1 scoop vanilla protein powder

1/4 cup crushed apple chips

1/2 cup peanut butter

2 tbsp honey

1 tsp apple pie spice or 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ground ginger, pinch of nutmeg


Combine all ingredients in a stand mixer and mix until sticky enough to form into bite size balls. Store in the fridge for up to two weeks and enjoy!
