National Peanut Butter Day!
I love me some peanut butter. I know I'm not alone since peanut butter is enjoyed by many and there's a day dedicated to it! Which happens to be today!!!
In honor of peanut butter, I thought I'd share a little information about the health benefits of peanut butter as well as a yummy.
Peanut butter is a healthy fat because of it's monounsaturated fats and protein.
Peanut butter can help to satiate you because of those healthy fats and protein.
Peanut butter contains about 15% of your daily recommended intake of the essential mineral magnesium.
Eating peanut butter during pregnancy can help decrease your babies risk of developing allergies
The fats in peanut butter help your body to absorb fat soluble vitamins.
It tastes good!

Apples and Peanut Butter Dip
1 small Fuji or Honeycrisp apple
1 cup non-fat greek yogurt
2 tbsp. pb2 (powdered peanut butter)
1 tbsp. all natural peanut butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
Mix greek yogurt, pb2, peanut butter and cinnamon in a small bowl. Serve with apples and enjoy!
