Save Time and Money by Grocery Shopping online
I'm one of those weird people who actually enjoys grocery shopping. Well, I enjoy it WITHOUT kids. Unfortunately, I'm not without kids very often. In fact, it's pretty rare for me to have even a solo shopping trip. AND I know I'm not alone in that right moms?
Luckily, there are SO many options for shopping from the comfort of your own home. Or maybe even in the car outside the grocery store while your little one naps. Been there! Today I thought I'd share a few of my favorite online food/beverage shopping websites.
Butcher Box - Hands down our favorite place to purchase grass-fed, pasture raised, organic meat. This company has been around for a few years now and takes great pride in providing quality meat to consumers. The ship beef, chicken, pork and lamb at reasonable prices. You can choose to have a pre-selected box or customize a box with the animal and cuts you desire. The options for shipping are a box month or every two months but you have the freedom to postpone or cancel whenever you like. The quality of the meat is outstanding! Definitely check them out!
Vita-Cost - This company has a plethora of healthy living products. Dry food, cleaning products, supplements, etc. they have it all! Their prices are awesome, they often have great sales and their shipment usually comes within two days. Plus there is no annual fee! I use them when I need things like mustard, ketchup, vitamins, protein bars etc. but don't necessarily want to go to the grocery store and spend more money. A great company with awesome prices!
Thrive Market - This company is sort of like the Costco for health food. You pay an annual membership fee then can order natural products at a slightly discounted rate. They carry a ton of paleo, vegan, and gluten-free products that are harder to find in grocery stores. The reason we pay the annual fee, is for their organic, sustainable and grass-fed frozen meat packages. Specifically their wild caught seafood box. Everything we've tried from the box is amazing and it saves us from trying to decipher what seafood is safe to eat at the grocery store. If you're not interested in signing up for the year, you can try them out for a month and order a ton of great products at reduced prices!
Prime Now - Whole Foods partnering with Amazon was a match made in heaven. Especially for those of us who LOVE to shop at Whole Foods but don't always have the time, or the patience for doing it with kids in tow. Prime Now is one of the only grocery shopping services that doesn't jack up the prices for shopping online. What you pay online is what you pay in the store. AND you have the option to choose the delivery "tip" rather than paying a crazy free. Plus as an Amazon prime member you save an extra 10% on certain products in the store.
Time savers and I don't know about you guys, but when I'm in the grocery store, LOTS of things get added to my cart that aren't on my list. Which ends up costing me more money than I had planned to spend. So these options help me from compulsive shopping in the store. How about you? Do you shop for food online?
